Tim is the research editor for a16z crypto, working with the research team and others to help bring their ideas to life. Before joining a16z crypto, Tim was the executive director of the University of California Press, one of the largest and oldest academic presses in the country. He also served as editorial director at Harvard Business Review, before which he worked in the book trade, including time at Portfolio, Basic Books, and Princeton University Press. Tim is also the coauthor of two books on popular economics, The Org and The Inner Lives of Markets.
