Shari leads brand and marketing at a16z crypto. Following early stints in political advertising and entertainment marketing, Shari has spent the last two decades helping founders launch and grow game-changing consumer experiences. First at Danger, telling the company’s story from the launch of the T-Mobile Sidekick and building a fan base in entertainment and sports. Later at Google, she led global communications for Android and Google Play as the ecosystem quickly grew and attracted its first billion users. Shari has also worked with entrepreneurs across Europe as Marketing Partner at Atomico, a venture capital firm based in London. At Uber, Shari built and looked after the product and consumer communications teams. She also ran marketing at Essential, a consumer electronics startup, and communications for Amazon Smart Home.
