Andrew Lakis is a finance partner at a16z crypto, where he leads financial planning and analysis for the firm’s crypto vertical, supporting forecasting, strategic planning, and operational decision-making across the business.

Prior to joining a16z crypto, Andrew spent five years in Strategic Finance at Coinbase, supporting financial planning, liquidity management, and capital strategy during a period of rapid growth across the digital asset ecosystem. Before Coinbase, he worked at Rockefeller Capital Management and Morgan Stanley. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Villanova University.
