Aaron Schnider is a Technical Operations Specialist at a16z crypto specializing in the technical operations of a16z’s crypto portfolio, focusing on the custody of new assets and leading analytics engineering and data transformation projects. His role involves designing strategies to support and optimize operations across the organization.

Before joining a16z crypto, Aaron was a Senior Finance Data Analyst at Upstart, where he was responsible for fair value modeling and forecasting. He also served as a Finance Transformation Senior Analyst at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, where he led significant finance innovation initiatives.

Aaron is a Certified Public Accountant with a Master’s degrees in Data Analytics and Accounting. He also served in the US Navy as a Cryptologic Linguist specializing in Mandarin from 2004 to 2010, which has provided him with a unique perspective in his current role.
