In this talk, Kartik Nayak (Duke University) discusses the advances in latency, throughput, and applicability of DAG-based protocols in both authenticated and unauthenticated settings under partial synchrony.

About the presenter

Kartik is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at Duke University. He also works as an academic advisor at Espresso Systems. His research focuses on security, applied cryptography, distributed computing, and blockchains. Before joining Duke University, he spent a year as a postdoctoral researcher at VMware Research.
