Lasso and Jolt are two new technologies that represent a fundamentally different approach to SNARK design – one that is not only faster but potentially easier for developers to reason about and build on. In this presentation from the 2023 ZK Summit, Sam Ragsdale and Michael Zhu, members of the a16z crypto engineering team, walk through this new design with an eye toward helping engineers who would like to use it.
